New images of what the iPhone 5 could look like have hit the web.
Using allegedly leaked parts and rumours as a starting point, Dutch designer Martin Hajek created these renderings of what could prove to mirror the next-generation iPhone.
"As a (former) industrial designer I like to play around with 3D modelling and visualizing," Hajek said in an interview with FoxNews.com. "Apple's unreleased products lend themselves perfectly to play with."
The two-tone unibody as visualised by Hajek sports an anodised black aluminium casing to beautiful effect.
Other apparent features referencing rumours include a smaller dock port, which will reportedly replace what until now has been Apple's standard six-pin connector. As well, the camera appears to have been shifted over to the centre of the device, parallel to the speaker grill and home button. The smartphone also appears to have a larger screen than the current 3.5in version.
Apple has not confirmed the renderings, which were described by a Chinese tech site as "incredible" and the "most likely" of all leaked images thus far.
At WWDC on 11 June, Apple did not reveal any details about the forthcoming iPhone, disappointing eager fans across the globe.
The company announced that iOS 6 would be released in the autumn, and it's likely we'll know more about the highly anticipated device by then. So far, Apple has promised that the forthcoming operating system will have a new mapping service, as well as Facebook integration.
